1. The trash truck usually comes at 1pm on Tuesdays. It came before I left for work at 7:30 and I didn't get the trash cans out in time. Ugh.
2. The 4th was really fun. The kids and I went over to Krista's for a BBQ with Lindsay, Hunter and Krista's friend, Rachel. Krista, the food was amazing! The kids played and I grazed all afternoon! Then we went to see fireworks at Ventura College with my parents. It was a great day.
3. It turns out I've been planning my vacation for the wrong weekend. Oh joy. I frustrate myself! So we're off to Shaver in one week instead of two!
4. I don't understand the weather. It's July and raining.
5. I wish I were in Idaho. I also wish plane tickets were cheaper because if they were I'd being going really soon!
6. I buzzed Coley's hair today. I accidentally took a little zink off the back and you can see his skin underneath. Whoops.
7. I asked Cole to tell me a joke. He said this: "A man walked up to a face and was...and turned to life. That was what I said, did you hear that? Was that funny? Was that a joke?"
Silly little man.
8. Sometimes I wish I was doing First Place again. It was nice to have the accountability for my eating habits.
9. Cole was playing with a horse that has a stick on the end to ride and Kayley gave him permission to "pretend to hit her." Of course, he actually did hit her with it and now she has a black eye as well as a huge bruise on the side of her face. It's worse than this picture shows, poor thing:(

I meant to save my post earlier. I didn't plan on posting it till I was done. Foolish.
kayley looks like a battered child. i hope no one reports you. jk lolz brb. thats not funny. i like cole's joke. he has no future in stand up though.
i still need to send you the picture i took of her face right after it happened. fyi, if anyone reports you, don't even worry, girl, i got your back. and lindsay does, too. great thing we were eating and talking instead of watching the children. lolz.
