1. Yesterday Kayley picked up a snail, commented on it's eyeballs and rubbed the slime on Cole's head. What a sweety. And such an instigator!
2. It's such a perfect day today! It's warm, sunny and fabulous! Driving down the coast on the way home from work was awesome. On days like these I feel blessed to live in such a wonderful place.
3. I'm excited for Shaver! The weather has been warm up there. I love it that way so I can jump in the lake without hesitation.
4. The kids are in VBS this week. They have been looking forward to it since it ended last year! I enjoy listening to their little songs and love hearing about what they learned. They are such sponges!
5. Lindsay is coming up to visit me at lunch time tomorrow! She and Hunter came over last Friday to swim with us for a bit. I love little big Hunter. He's a cutie!
6. The kids and I have been able to Skype with Tyler lately. It's really nice to talk and be able to see his face. We all miss him:(
7. I feel so overwhelmed right now. I'm trying so hard to be a good mom and keep it all together. Bills, disability checks, work, commuting, childcare, laundry, friends, etc, etc. But sometimes it just falls apart. Like today. And then God does something little to show me He's still got me in his hands, like getting me an oil change at Jiffy Lube today in less than ten minutes. I feel like there are not enough minutes in the day to do everything. I just need a hug. Wish Tyler was here...
8. My brother Tim told me today that he's never seen me this skinny. It made me feel good, especially coming from him, the body pumping, wall scaling, crazy exercise, healthy eating guy that he is :)
9. I've had things to do at work this week. It's nice to stay busy because the day goes by so much faster that way.
10. My birthday is in 21 days!

I'm sorry you're feeling overwhelmed, friend! I'm glad you get to escape for a few days at Shaver... you deserve it. And I promise that when you come home from holiday, I won't have killed Mr. Denny. And any time you need a hug, I will drive to your house and hug you!

7. I just read an article in Goodhousekeeping that was good for me to hear and goes along with your overwelmedness. Here's one quote from Emma Thompson, "you have got to allow yourself to drop the ball, because nobody can keep all those balls in the air." That probably doesn't help but it reminded me of it.
