After lots of waiting, Kayley got her cast on yesterday. Usually they aren't waterproof because of the cotton lining between the skin and the fiberglass but we were able to purchase a different kind of lining that would allow her to go in water! They also gave her a little boot that keeps the cast from getting dirty. It took her all of 10 minutes to learn how to run in the thing but hey, what did you expect? It's Kayley we're talking about here! I'm very happy with the orthopedist we saw and I'm glad the waiting is over.
Ashley watched Cole while we were at the doctor and she took these pictures when we got back.
In case you were wondering, I don't ever brush my daughters' hair.

Oh my word. In the second to last picture, she looks SO MUCH like your mom! It's totally her smile and her mouth.
Anyhow, I'm glad she's finally got it. I can't believe it's like a full-on cast. I wanna sign it!
i'm glad it's red at least. i agree with krista about looking like your mom in the last picture. mouth-wise. and we all know you don't groom your children.
Come to Alabama and the ladies will do Kayley up in big bows to pull back her curls. :) Be thankful for her messy hair. :) She is totally rockin' that cast! I wish i could sign it. I just got an idea, can i have your address?
