Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
After putting the kids to bed on Friday night I went to Target to do some last minute shopping for Valentine's Day. I'm so on top of things I never wait till the last minute. I made my way to the checkout stand and made pleasant conversation with the cashier. We were talking about the Valentine's section of the store and how so many people wait till the last minute to do their shopping. She most definitely did not refer to Valentine's day as Valentimes day more than once. Really, she was a grown woman and couldn't get it right. I did not try really hard to keep from laughing. I mean, she's not five.
I joined LA Fitness this week. I love the kids play area and I love the gym but I do not love the locker room. I forgot that some women do not find it normal to bare all whilst changing and send me into panic. Come on people, at least turn the other way. There's no need to have conversation while dressing oneself.
Tyler and I had our love day yesterday instead of Saturday. We went for a drive down the 1 and stopped in Malibu for some much needed Coffee Bean. We walked around with our drinks for a bit and saw about ten guys in the street with really nice cameras. I thought to myself "oh, a nice bunch of photography students." Then I realized it was the paparazzi! Someone was inside a hair salon and outside people were taking pictures of her car and waiting for her to come out. I know it was a woman because I saw her hair. For a minute there I was so not excited about who could be in there and if I would be able to see them or meet them. Nope, not me! I would never want people following me around like that. Seriously.
While we were eating dinner on the Santa Monica pier we had a view of the beautiful sunset and some really nice music. Music that I thought was from a sound system the entire time until Tyler pointed out the man right in front of us with a guitar and a microphone. I could never be that oblivious.
Cole has been sick this week. If anyone knows my child they understand that he is such a pill when he's sick. I most definitely, absolutely, positively DID NOT give him a pacifier to suck on in the car to keep him quiet. He's three for goodness sake. Later that day when he asked for it again I did not scold him and say "don't ask me for a pacifier, you're way too old for that!"
Our plans for going to California Adventure today have not totally been ruined by the rain. We're going to the snow instead! Get ready for some great pictures of the kids' first time seeing and playing in snow!

Great "Not Me"s! Funny, I've never heard anyone say "valentiMes," but I get bugged--I mean, I do NOT get bugged--when people say Feb-YOU-ary instead of Feb-RU-ary. Your kids are so cute, by the way!
I love Malibu. Doesn't matter for what reason the town is mentioned, I will always think of the Vineyard, FKA, Grant, and Lifehouse.
Too bad about California Adventure :( But snow is a good substitute!
Haha yay for snow! Dee and I were suppose to take Jordan in January but the house construction stopped that one...oh well there's always next year ;) Looking forward to those pic's ;)
I'm sorry. I wrote a comment and it got lost in cyber world, and I forgot to come back and try again.
I want to give Mike a shout out. Woot, woot, I miss malibu vinyeard, too!
I wish I could go to the snow with you! I love that we say "go to the snow".
I can't even picture Cole with a pacifier in his mouth.
I wish you'd update again!
